Tiffany Reese-Smith

By Phillip Bowie

Tiffany Reese-Smith was born in Miami, Fla., in 1979 and moved to Albuquerque, N.M., where she spent most of her childhood. She eventually moved to San Antonio, Texas with her mother in 1990.

Reese-Smith is a sophomore Geology major. She will graduate this spring with an associate’s degree, and she plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa this upcoming fall, using the Bridge Scholarship that Palo Alto has with UNI.

Reese-Smith has decided that when she goes to Iowa she plans on majoring in Geology. She has two daughters Ava and Lillian. They look forward to the snow in Iowa.

“Moving to Iowa will be a big change for me and my girls, but we’re all very excited about it and can’t wait to get there,” Reese-Smith said.

Some of her favorite things to do include being outside, going for a walk around her neighborhood, or taking a drive to the local park and playing with her girls.

Reese-Smith also likes to make home crafts with her girls, as well. They make things like gingerbread houses, paper maché figures, macaroni art and more.

After finishing her bachelor’s degree, Reese-Smith plans on continuing her education and getting her master’s degree in Geology, too.
