For the sixth year in a row, teachers from Central Americas rural communities are participating in a teacher development program offered at Palo Alto College. The Cooperative Association of States for Scholarships (CASS) provides grants for the rural teachers who were selected to work in the United States to develop new approaches for themselves and parents in their home countries. When the year-long program is completed, these teachers will go back to their countries and create action plans for their schools and for their communities. Photo by Anna Martinez |
