In the March 2004 issue of the “Pulse,” an
article was written about the College’s smoking policy. When the “Pulse” was
picked up by students, faculty and staff, they received a smoking survey inside
the issue, and 162 were returned. When surveyed, 29 were smokers and 133 were
non-smokers. Out of the 162 surveys, 120 respondents agreed with the smoking
policy and 115 agreed with the current smoking areas. The surveys were returned
by 112
