Wellness Club
The Student Wellness Club wants to help students with their physical, spiritual, intellectual, mental and environmental health. There is no fee to join, and fundraisers are planned to help with the cost of all activities. 2004 PacFest

Free parking and free admission for all who want to participate and/or attend PACFest, 2004. Games, food and live bands will be featured at PACFest, an official Fiesta Event, on April 22 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Free parking and free admission make this family- oriented, alcohol-free event a day for all to enjoy.

An Opportunity to Dance
An original inter-generational dance/theatre production called “Familiar Moments” will be staged at Palo Alto College. This production will play on family and their moments through the art of dance and theatre. The performance will be held on April 29 at 2:00 p.m. and April 30 at 7:00 p.m. Your last chance to participate is on April 26, 27 and 28.

Basic Medical Technician classes now being offered

Palo Alto College’s Continuing Education has joined with Customized Training and American Ambulance to offer B.E.M.T. on campus. Classes are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. starting March 29. Some classes will be rotated to Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at American Ambulance. NCAA Honors Stacey Johnson
Congratulations to Palo Alto College’s very own Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Stacey Johnson for receiving the distinguished 2004 NCAA Silver Anniversary Award. The award, which honors former student-athletes who have gone on to have successful careers, was awarded to Johnson on Jan. 11, 2004. She currently sits on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Executive Committee and is President of the U.S. Fencing Association. Johnson will attend the Olympic games in Athens this summer.

Tutoring for Students
The Science Learning Center had its grand opening, Feb. 25, 2004, while the Math and English Learning Centers hosted open houses. Each department had skilled specialists and trained tutors to welcome students and answer questions. Tutoring services are available to all Palo Alto and TAMU-K students. The Science Learning Center is located in MS 105; contact Tracy Pomerinke at 921-5137.
