Job and Financial Aid Fairs

A Financial Aid Fair will be held March 30 in the Student Center. Financial aid applications, information on grants and scholarships will be available.
The Net mobile will also be on hand March 29 and 30 for electronic financial aid applications. The Job Fair will be held in the courtyard on April 12 from noon to 6 p.m. with as many as 50 employers from various career fields. If the weather does not cooperate, the fair will be moved to the gym. |

Courses on computer The Spring Flex II semester will offer Internet
courses for those students who need classes that are quick and convenient.
The semester runs from March 20 through May 14 and registration continues
until March 20. The 8-week semester allows students to complete these courses in a shorter period of time and have the added convenience of using their home computer or Palo Alto's open computer labs. Courses offered are Man and His Environment, American Literature I, College Orientation and Psychology. For complete schedule and registration information contact the Office of Extended Services and Community Outreach at 921-5303. Free tax help Certified tax preparation specialists will be on campus on Thursday afternoons from 1-3 p.m. in the Applied Science Building, Room 122 from now until April 13. Students may receive help with preparing their tax forms, which are available in the Ozuna Center or www.irs.gov. |

Student Spotlight Amanda Willborn, a freshman Broadcast Journalism major, will be a host for the local television show “City Spirit: City Year”. Willborn is the only junior college student chosen for this internship. The program airs on CTSA, Paragon Cable Channel 15 on Monday at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., and Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
