ANALYSIS

What I learned about this oral history project is that everyone has their own story to tell. There are many things that I did know about my grandfather. I also learned that when you ask questions you will recieve answers that will teach you a lesson in life. When my grandfather was a young child and at a young adult he had to work very hard. My grandfather did not have the same benefits as we do today. In Mexico you would have to pay for your books and education and many children had to work to help the family financially. It wasn't easy for young children. My grandfather did everything to help his family. He played the role of a father at a young age when his father was looking for a job during the strike. My grandfather has always been a strong working man, with a good head on his shoulders. I really enjoyed working on this project mainly because I learned many things about my grandfather and I thank God for having him as my grandfather and this project brought me a step closer to knowing more about his life.
