This has a very detailed listing of the town's first settlers. It tells how the contributed to the town.

This book provided an excellent map of the surrounding area.

This book provided a look at the county that Kosciuszko falls in.
5. Bradfield, Bill, Muleshoe and More, Gulf Publisher and Company, 1927.
This book goes into great detail on how and why the town was started.
6. Texas State Historical Association, Vol. III, The New HandBook Texas, Texas, 1996.
This Book gives a nice look at the number of people the town had through out the years as the town grew.
7. Texas State Historical Association, Vol. V, The New HandBook Texas, Texas, 1996.
This volume has a good summary of the founder's background.

This volume shows that Kosciuszko falls within Wilson County by a thin margin.
9. Baker, T. Sidney, Building The Lone Star, Texas A&M Press, Texas, 1986.
This book tells that there was a railroad that ran through Kosciuszko at one time.
10. The Texas Guide, Texas A&M Press, Texas, 2000.
This book told about the agricultural roll that the town plays for the people and how it provides jobs.
