Pioneer Resident Is 90:
Father Killed by Indians

Mrs. R. J. (Nannie) Lauderdale, member of a pioneer family here, quietly observed her 90th birthday last week.
Her father, Elija O'Brien, was one of Pleasanton's first settlers, coming here in the 1850's. He operated a livestock exchange and trading pen, and in the early 1870's he was killed by marauding Indians.
